A: The “Best Used by Date” is stamped in ink on the bottom of the container when turned upside down. Accent is safe to consume after the “Best Used by Date”, but we cannot guarantee the same high quality of the product after that point.
Q: I’ve heard the word Umami associated with Accent. What is Umami?
A: Accent produces a unique and subtle taste that is called “Umami” in Japan and is described as a savory broth like taste. Umami is considered the fifth basic taste in addition to salty, sweet, sour and bitter.
